”sixth grade romance”
late-night phone calls,
(it’s only seven)
holding hands,
(on the playground)
too shy to kiss.
don't forget that boy
because you’re never
going to see him again,
and don’t forget him
because you’ll never
love anyone
the way that you
loved him.

It's very bittersweet and very true.

"Hold me, my love
Telling me you won't be afraid.
Wouldn't you want me to swim,
Wouldn't you want me to stay?"

I like the 'late-night phone calls' when it's only seven
